Appearance history
The inception of AWP | Electric Hive into the virtual armory occurred on the 18th of December, 2013. It emerged as a segment of The eSports 2013 Winter Collection, coinciding with the commencement of the 'Winter Offensive' campaign.
Pattern description
Enveloping the firearm's chassis, a tapestry of black and amethyst hues intertwines, punctuated by a hexagonal lattice akin to apiary structures. This meshwork is suffused with a chromatic cascade of sunset orange, cerulean, and violet. Select diminutive components bear a monochromatic amethyst sheen, while the barrel, sighting apparatus, and the stock's terminal segment remain untouched by this vivid tableau.
Effect of float
The skin's Float Value oscillates between 0.00 and 0.40, rendering the AWP | Electric Hive obtainable in all states of preservation, save for the Battle-Scarred. Initial signs of wear manifest on the buttstock and handguard when the condition is barely short of pristine. As the wear approaches its zenith, the weapon's facade exhibits pronounced signs of degradation.
Pattern difference
Intricacies of the gradient's interplay upon the hexagonal design are subject to the whims of the pattern index. Amongst the myriad of variations, those brandishing a cobalt hexagon grid (Blue Hives #273) or a tangerine one (Orange Hives #253) garner the highest esteem.
Skin Features
The AWP | Electric Hive is distinguished by its Classified quality tier. An additional feature is the availability of a StatTrak version, for those wishing to keep a tally of their virtual conquests.
Skin popularity
Presently, the AWP | Electric Hive enjoys a reputation of moderate renown amongst its digital compatriots.
