Description of Slaughter

Appearance history

The Bayonet | Slaughter entered the fray on the 14th of August, 2013, as part of the illustrious 'The Arms Deal' update. This skin graced 11 distinct cases that were unveiled between the years 2013 and 2015.

Pattern description

Forged with aluminum and chrome hues, the blade boasts an enigmatic pattern, veiled beneath a sheath of crimson translucent paint. The grip and crossguard stand in their original form, devoid of coloration.

Effect of float

The Bayonet | Slaughter's Float Value oscillates between 0.00 and 0.26, confining its condition to Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested. Initial signs of wear manifest as minor scuffs along the spine. Approaching the zenith of its Float Value, the blade's edge and spine betray the presence of pronounced scratches and wear.

Pattern difference

The pattern index dictates the distribution and contour of the design elements. Those variants where the abstract design mimics the silhouette of a diamond, or a combination of a diamond and a heart, are deemed the most elusive and valuable. Slightly less uncommon are those with heart-like figures, while patterns echoing the form of a dogbone or a butterfly are more prevalent and thus less coveted.
