Appearance history

The Classic Knife | Case Hardened was introduced into the virtual armory on the 18th of October, 2019, with the unveiling of the CS20 Case, amidst the fanfare of the 'Cache and Release' update.

Pattern description

Adorned with a mosaic of azure, amethyst, and amber hues, the knife's hardened blade bears the marks of patina. The guard and grip, however, remain devoid of coloration.

Effect of float

The Classic Knife | Case Hardened boasts a Float Value spectrum stretching from 0.00 to 1.00, ensuring its presence in every possible condition. While the knife's form remains unmarred by scratches or abrasions, patina marks manifest on various segments of the blade even when in pristine Factory New condition. As wear escalates towards its zenith, a patina film envelops the blade, casting it in a noticeably more somber tone.

Pattern difference
