Appearance history
The AWP | Oni Taiji, a tapestry of virtual warfare aesthetics, emerged in the Workshop on the fifth of September in the year two thousand and fifteen. A duo of years thence, it underwent a metamorphosis, and on the twenty-third of May, two thousand and seventeen, it was inducted into the digital armory as a constituent of the Hydra Collection, coinciding with the commencement of Operation Hydra. The creative mind behind this virtual artifact is known as L'grand.
Pattern description
Conceived in the vein of archaic Nipponese artistry, the AWP | Oni Taiji's chassis is festooned with a depiction of a samurai locked in combat with a malevolent oni. The oni, rendered in a spectrum of crimson hues, dominates the buttstock's canvas. Meanwhile, the samurai, brandishing a katana, claims the receiver and handguard as his stage. The barrel, the apex of the buttstock, and the telescopic sight are bathed in an amethyst hue, interwoven with esoteric motifs, while the sight itself is punctuated by amber embellishments.
Effect of float
The Float Value spectrum for the AWP | Oni Taiji spans from a pristine 0.00 to a battle-hardened 0.50, ensuring its availability across all states of wear. The initial signs of combat, in the form of abrasions, make their presence known on the buttstock and handguard once the skin has been minimally worn. As the wear approaches its zenith, the weapon's body exhibits pronounced battle scars.
