Appearance history
The AWP | Phobos materialized in the Workshop on the twenty-seventh of May, 2016, and was inducted into the game on the fifteenth of June, 2016, as a constituent of The Gamma Collection. This collection was unveiled in tandem with the 'Gamma Exposure' update, and the skin's inception is credited to the creator known as Apel.
Pattern description
Crafted with a vision of the forthcoming, the AWP | Phobos's design mirrors that of a cosmic blaster. The creator cites the cinematic opus 'Blade Runner' as the muse behind its conception. Adorning the rifle's core are panels of dark viridian metal, while the handguard, the scope, and the posterior segment of the buttstock are emblazoned with a tessellation of obsidian and amber diagonal bands. This motif is further enhanced by an array of indicators, toggles, and actuators, with the barrel itself eschewing any form of paint.
Effect of float
The Float Value for the AWP | Phobos oscillates between 0.00 and 0.40, rendering it obtainable in all conditions save for Battle-Scarred. Initial signs of wear manifest upon the rifle's body even in the pristine Factory New state. As wear approaches its zenith, the abrasions proliferate modestly, and the skin's hue transitions to a more somber tone.
Pattern difference
The pattern index holds no sway over the AWP | Phobos's outward appearance.
Skin Features
The AWP| Phobos boasts the designation of Restricted quality. Additionally, this skin is available with the StatTrak feature, allowing for the tallying of eliminations.
Skin popularity
Presently, the AWP | Phobos does not grace the roster of sought-after skins and is an infrequent sight within the game.
