Appearance history
The M249 | Nebula Crusader made its debut within the virtual armory on the 17th of September, 2015. This entrant joined as part of The Shadow Collection, coinciding with the unveiling of the 'Shadow Boxing' update. The aesthetic of the skin sprang from the creative minds of OniLolz and Zaphk.
Pattern description
Echoing the vibrant arcade cabinets of the 1980s, the skin's receiver is swathed in a nebulous dark blue hue, embellished with depictions of interstellar craft and arcade-style interface elements. Its magazine boasts a depiction of a cosmonaut against a crimson celestial body, emblazoned with the moniker 'Nebula Crusader'. Select components of the armament are bathed in a monochromatic scarlet, while the buttstock's terminus features a sable star encircled by an orbit. The rear sight and certain segments remain untouched by the artist's palette.
Effect of float
The M249 | Nebula Crusader's Float Value oscillates between 0.00 and 1.00, ensuring its availability across the spectrum of conditions. Even in its pristine Factory New guise, the weapon bears minute signs of wear. As the Float Value approaches the zenith, the abrasions proliferate, and a patina envelops the weapon's frame, imparting a verdant hue, while pixels of a paler cast emerge sporadically on its surface.
Pattern difference
The visual integrity of the skin remains unaltered by the pattern index, ensuring a consistent aesthetic across specimens.
