On the 20th day of February in the year 2014, the AWP | Asiimov made its debut as part of the illustrious Phoenix Collection, coinciding with the commencement of Operation Phoenix. The aesthetic conception of this skin is attributed to the artist known as Coridium.
This skin boasts a vision of the future, its chassis cloaked in alabaster, emblazoned with obsidian and vivid tangerine striations. Adorning its surface, one finds an array of crosses and angular motifs scattered across the weapon's anatomy.
The AWP | Asiimov's Float Value oscillates between 0.18 and 1.00, rendering it attainable in all states of wear bar Factory New and Minimal Wear. Initial signs of wear manifest upon the handguard and buttstock when it reaches the Field-Tested plateau. As the wear approaches its zenith, the weapon's exterior exhibits pronounced scuffs and adopts a more somber hue. Collectors deem the skin particularly coveted when the Float Value lies between 0.90 and 1.00, at which point the scope, bereft of its original finish, earns the moniker 'blackiimov'.
